TERA PvP: Berserker Tips (Basic)

In this section we will take an overview on Tera Berserker PVP. This is about using your skills wisely, that is when, where and how to use them. You can develop your own style and build your own strategies.

For a slow melee character, the Berserker needs to close gaps between themselves and the enemy. Let’s look at some tips for Tera Berserker PVP.

Tera Online Berserker PVP Tip #1 – Know your strength and weakness

Berserkers have heavy armors and are slow, but they make up for this with heavy attacks. If you know how to position your attacks, then you can do some serious damage. You need use your movement impairment skills to close gaps between you and you foe. A good foe will try to maintain a distance between you and himself so that he can range you down without taking much damage.

Berserkers are known to have a slow attack speed, but when their attacks land, they pack a very powerful punch. The key to playing a good Berserker in PVP is to understand your enemies movements and position your attacks, so that all your attacks connect with your foe.

Tera Online Berserker PVP Tip #2 – Use skills wisely

While playing a Berserker you need to understand that while trying to land some hits, you need to balance your skills to keep your opponent in place. If you can’t get him to stand still, then slow will do just fine.

Use Shout, which will slow down the enemy. You can then position your self and land some good hits.

Use skills like Bash and Ground Fall to temporarily immobilize your foe, after this pop Berserker’s Rage and use a heavy hitting skill. As your opponent is probably not going anywhere for a second or two, he or she is bound to get hit.

The third tip is about the opponent. While playing any game, one of the best strategies is knowing your opponent.

Understand the opponent’s skills and abilities. Use your imagination and think what skills the opponents going to use to kill you, then you can work around that accordingly.

For e.g. You can easily avoid an Archer’s attacks if you keep moving towards him in a non-predictable random path.

Focus on your opponents weakness. Harness these to your benefit.
